The group formerly known as Metanoia, is now called 180. They are quite popular in Charlottesville, and I know most of the members, (former & present) from church. I was thrilled when they called and asked me to do a group pic of this fun-loving and very talented group. It's Been soooooooooooo long!!!

I know, I know, it's been way too long since I've posted here. Lots of busy-ness at work, lots of hectic going-ons.... so I'll try to make up for it over the next week or so. I'll post lots of pics to fill you in on the shoots I've done recently. Some nice photos from Jamaica,(oh yeah, I forgot to mention Matt & I took a nice vacation in January.) Plus, some newborn pics, baby pics etc...
I attended two photography seminars in December, and will be attending a photoshop seminar tomorrow! Should be fun!

Autumn Fun

Remember playing in the leaves? Recently we all got together & took turns rolling, jumping & playing in the leaves. I took the opportunityto get out my Canon 5D & capture some of the memories! Enjoy!

New Award

Candid Art wins an award! So, I entered a contest through Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine. It was sponsored by a local camera shop, and after the two of them sorted through oodles (ie hundreds of entries) "Velvet Afternoon" finished in the top 20. The photo will be matted, framed, put up for sale & on display at the camera store throughout the month of December. Pretty Exciting stuff.... Here's a small version of the winning entry.
